Thank you from Tori’s Troopers!

It was a dry Great Strides day for a change and the crowd raised $360,000 for CF research. More donations keep trickling in so the final count should be higher. Tori’s Troopers totals are at about $12,000 right now, but we’ll count donations through the end of June.

Holy Names Academy welcomes the CF Foundation for Peace and Justice Day!

Robert will be joining Alison Morton from CF Foundation to speak at Holy Names Academy on Wednesday, March 14th, as part of the school’s Peace and Justice Day. Lissy Moore was a Holy Names student who lost her battle with CF at age 15 and we’re honored to carry on the battle with CF in her memory.

Join the Fightin’ G-Gnomes on Saturday, April 21st!

March is typically when we ramp up our CF fundraising. Winter is a slow time for fundraisers and we use that time to re-energize our donors. This year there’s no better way to start than with the 11th Annual Fremont Troll Stroll on Saturday, April 21st. The Fightin’ G-Gnomes Drinking Team will be there, keeping their perfect attendance record intact.

There are recaps and photos from the past decade over at http://www.toritimes.com. You can join the G-Gnomes by registering online at http://www.cff.org/Chapters/washington/index.cfm?id=20784&event=20784 . Make sure you pick Robert from the Team Captain drop-down box.

For your $50 you get a 7-ounce beer at 11 different bars in the Fremont neighborhood, a t-shirt, food specials and a whole lot of fun. Check-in begins at 12:30pm.

Tori’s now home for the holidays. Her first semester at George Fox went well and she just had a great quarterly checkup at the CF clinic. Woo hoo!
